Sing, Connect, and Experience the Joy of Choral Music with Chordiality
Love to sing? Looking for a friendly, high-quality choir in Brisbane? Chordiality is a non-auditioned community SATB choir that brings people together through the joy of music.
We welcome singers of all levels who share a passion for choral singing in a warm, inclusive environment.
Our Music – A Rich and Varied Concert Season
Each year, Chordiality presents two major concerts, showcasing the depth and beauty of choral music:
Winter Concert – A large-scale choral work, often a mass, performed with a soloists and/or an organ or small ensemble accompaniment
Summer Concert – A vibrant program of art songs, opera choruses, madrigals, and folk songs, often built around a central theme.
Our repertoire spans centuries and styles, featuring beloved works by composers such as Bach, Vivaldi, Mendelssohn, Verdi, Britten, and Vaughan Williams.
Whether singing a cappella, with piano, or alongside instrumental accompaniment, we aim to create moving and memorable musical experiences.
Join Us – A Supportive and Social Choir
At Chordiality, we believe that singing should be both excellent and enjoyable.
Our rehearsals in Indooroopilly provide a welcoming space where members connect, make friends, and share their love for music.
We encourage social interaction during breaks, host afternoon teas during workshops, and plan social events to build a strong sense of community.
Each year, we also hold a festive Christmas concert for family, friends, and supporters—an event filled with warmth and generosity, where we regularly raise around $1,000 for charity.
A Choir That’s Well-Managed and Member-Focused
Chordiality is guided by a dedicated management committee, ensuring smooth operations and well-organized performances. Elected annually, the team includes a President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, and general committee members who work together to support the choir’s success.
