About Us
Chordiality was founded in 2008 by former members of the Queensland Philharmonic Chorale, united by a shared desire to keep making great music together. What began as a small group of passionate singers has grown into a vibrant community choir that values musical excellence just as much as friendship and connection.
We take pride in delivering high‑quality performances while fostering a warm, supportive atmosphere where singers of all backgrounds can thrive. Our rehearsals in Indooroopilly are welcoming and relaxed, offering a space where members can connect, make friends, and enjoy the simple joy of singing together.
Community is at the heart of who we are. We encourage social interaction during rehearsal breaks, host afternoon teas during workshops, and organise social events that help build strong bonds within the choir.
We also remain committed to giving back. Each year, Chordiality raises funds for local charities through our performances and community activities — a tradition that reflects our belief in generosity, connection, and making a positive difference beyond the music itself.
Over the years, we’ve stayed true to our core belief that singing should be excellent, meaningful, and enjoyable — and we’re always ready to welcome new voices who share that passion and help us bring that joy to the wider community.
